Where have I been for so long?

At last I'm back doing one of things I love. I have taken a few years off from knitting to persue my interest in photography. I have learned much  most of it I will use some of it I will never attempt and probably forget. So I think this blog will become about knitting and photography they do go together in more ways than you can imagine.
You have color theory and design two things in knitting and photography, you also have lines, and curves, again there are both. I could go on and on. See I did listen in my classes. I really did enjoy going to college and learning and doing things I didn't think I would ever enjoy. I have my great husband to thank for putting me out there and making me go do something with my life.

Another snowy day

This is about the fourth day of snow we have had now, it is piling up to about 12 inches. I have finished my granddaughter Kennedy's scarf that she requested I make for her, in pink and purple of course. I started out with 25 stitches on the needles and did a 4 row seed stitch and followed the seed stitch up the sides on 4 stitches. It looks really good, I will take a picture of it before she gets her hands on it. I used some pink wool I got for free at TNNA last year, along with some sock yarn from knit picks that I had left over.

New Year

I have been very neglectful of my blog this past year. Could be because we bought a house this past year, so I've been pretty busy making my touches on it, and making it our home. I've also been busy knitting and spinning too.

So here a some of things I made this last year: The socks are Happiness Socks The gloves are Sideways Gloves love making these so so easy.

Debbie's Knitting

Welcome to my blog!
I'm just getting started so please come back and visit often. I'm just learning how to do this. How exciting to share projects and pics of all the things I make.
I like to spin my own fiber, it is so theraputic. I have been knitting for over 30 years, and I still learn new things.

My husband and I love to travel, he was in the military for 20 years, now retired.
